In a move towards going green Apple removes stickers in iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro boxes. This change is part of the company’s larger goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2030, as reported by 9to5Mac.
For many years, Apple has placed logo stickers in the packaging of its products. But with the release of the iPhone 16 on September 20, that tradition is coming to an end. Stickers will no longer be included unless buyers ask for them directly when purchasing at Apple Stores.

If you buy the iPhone 16 through third-party stores or carriers, the stickers won’t be available. Also, those ordering the iPhone for home delivery will not receive stickers, even if requested.
Apple’s Push for a Greener Future
Apple is continuously working on reducing waste and cutting down on plastic use. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro packaging is now made entirely from fiber, which is another step towards Apple’s goal of removing all plastic from its packaging by 2025. This change follows a trend that started with other products like the Apple Vision Pro and new iPads, which also don’t include stickers.
While some longtime Apple fans might miss the stickers, it’s clear the company is focused on protecting the environment.
In the box, customers will still receive their iPhone, a 1-meter USB-C charge cable, and basic documentation. However, the stickers are only available upon request at Apple Stores.
The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus
Apple’s iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus come equipped with the new A18 chip, which makes the phones faster and more efficient. The iPhone 16 starts at AED 3,399, while the iPhone 16 Plus begins at AED 3,799. These models also feature a new camera control button and an Action button that lets users quickly access their favorite functions.
The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max come with even larger displays, measuring 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively. The Pro model has thinner bezels than ever before and introduces a new “Desert Titanium” color, replacing last year’s blue option.
The iPhone 16 Pro is powered by the A18 Pro chip, delivering even better performance. It includes a 5x Telephoto camera, previously only available on the Pro Max, along with a 48MP main and ultra-wide camera. Video lovers will enjoy the ability to shoot 4K video at 120 frames per second.
