Furthermore, it hopes to rank within the top 200 universities globally over the next 20 years. The goal is also to become one of the top three universities in the UAE for research contributions over the next ten years.

He also announced key leadership appointments for the university: Hamdan bin Mohammed as the University’s President, Maktoum bin Mohammed as Vice President, and Ahmed bin Saeed as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. The launch of Dubai National University is part of the broader Dubai Social Agenda 33, a ten-year plan focused on strengthening Emirati families by improving various aspects of their lives. The Agenda emphasizes “Family: The Foundation of Our Nation” and covers areas like housing, quality of life, social cohesion, healthcare, and future skills for the new generation.
