Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority RTA starts two new marine transport lines for Dubai Creek Harbour area. It enhance connectivity for residents and tourists. These services, which offer a scenic and efficient mode of transport, are part of a collaboration between RTA and Emaar Properties.

Two New Marine Transport Lines For Dubai Creek Harbour
1- Dubai Creek Harbour to Dubai Festival City
- Service Days: Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
- Operating Hours: 4:00 PM to 11:55 PM
2- Dubai Creek Harbour to Al Jaddaf Marine Transport Station and Al Khor Metro Station
- Service Days: Weekdays (Monday to Friday)
- Operating Hours: 7:30 AM to 10:50 AM and 4:00 PM to 10:50 PM
Affordable Fares
The fare for each stop along these routes is set at an affordable Dhs2, making it an accessible option for both residents and tourists.
Supporting Waterfront Communities
These new lines are a strategic initiative aimed at supporting the development of waterfront communities and enhancing tourist destinations in Dubai. The collaboration between RTA and Emaar Properties focuses on improving infrastructure, including the installation of berths for various marine vessels and the setup of ticket-selling kiosks to enhance customer satisfaction.

Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of RTA’s Public Transport Agency, highlighted the success of these lines, noting a significant increase in usage. Since their launch in August 2022, passenger numbers have surged from an average of 3,000 per month to 30,000 per month, representing a remarkable 900% increase. This growth underscores the public demand for efficient and scenic transport options in the city.
Ahmed Al Matrooshi, executive board member of Emaar Properties, emphasized the importance of public and private sector collaboration in achieving the UAE’s broader visions and goals. He noted that providing adequate infrastructure in Emaar’s sea-view developments enhances their appeal by facilitating easy public movement through RTA’s marine transport services.
